Enrollment Requirements:
14 years old to start your training
Category 3 medical from Transport Canada.*
*Due to the delay from Transport Canada, students may commence the training while the medical is being processed.
Licensing Requirements:
17 years old to apply for Transport Canada Private Pilot License.
17 Hours of Dual Flights, 12 Hours of Solo Flights, 45 Total Hours.
40 Hours of Ground School Training.
Completion of Written Exam (PPAER) and Flight Test.

Like all our courses the PPL course is modular. This means you go at your own pace.
On average, we find it takes around 4-6 months to complete this course and become a licensed pilot.
The major factors that affect this are the weather and how prepared you come for your flights.

The average cost for completing the PPL course is $21,380 + tax.
We say average because every student is different and will require different times to complete.
A student that comes prepared for their flights is more likely to meet the average cost than a student who doesn’t.
