Alexey is a Class 1 Flight Instructor with more than 4,100 hours of flight time and over 3,000 hours of instructional experience. He specializes in multi‑engine and IFR training on aircraft such as the Piper Aztec and Seneca, and brings strong leadership experience from serving as Chief Flight Instructor at several flight schools.

His commercial background includes flying as a First Officer on the CRJ100/200 and ATR 42/72, operating in demanding environments that strengthened his systems knowledge and operational discipline. He also previously flew fixed‑wing surveillance missions for the Ottawa Police Services Air Support Unit, experience that further refined his precision and situational awareness.

Beyond his flying roles, Alexey has taught Aerodynamics at the S7 Airlines Training Center and is currently employed at NAV CANADA as an Instrument Procedure Designer, giving him a deep understanding of the structure and intent behind IFR procedures.
